Universal message of Simhastha will for humanity: CM Mr. Chouhan

International Vichar Mahakumbh begins at Ninaura-Ujjain

lead13.5.16Bhopal, May 13, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh Mr. Mohan Bhagwat has said that system should be egalitarian and exploitation free. Perpetual happiness is mere daydreaming unless everyone is happy. The more science is manifesting, the more it is coming closer to spiritualism. Mr. Bhagwat was addressing 3-day International Vichar Mahakumbh’s inaugural session at Ninaura near Ujjain today. Mr. Bhagwat said that according to Indian traditions, all living beings are children of nature. It is the nature which has given values to human beings. In Madhya Pradesh, Kumbh’s ideological tradition is being revived. Today, thinkers and philosophers of entire world have come closer. United Nations Organisation has said that nature of every country should be taken into consideration while ensuring development. Similar change is visible in global ideologies as well. Tendencies are developing to consider entire world as a single unit in impartial ideologists. Diversity is being recognised. Instead of struggle, coordination should be order of the day.

Concurrent science is also a medium of this change. Sanatan traditions have knowledge of this since time immemorial. In present-day context, we should go to science in the light of Sanatan values. Through this, a model of new global structure should be chalked out and introduced in our country’s life. Contemplation is basic of both science and knowledge. Science and spiritualism are different ways to find out truth. Swami Vivekananda has said that Dharma should be tested on the touch stone of science. Current problems should be solved through convergence of science and spiritualism.

Mr. Bhagwat said that for salvation, Triveni of knowledge, devotion and Karma is necessary. Dharma has 4 foundations including truth, mercy, cleanliness and meditation. Inventions not directed at human welfare are useless. Ideologies should be formed on the basis of both spiritualism and science. Later, this ideology should be put into practice to make it meaningful. An ideology which is not practical cannot be accepted. Standard examples would have to be set on the basis of polices. In the welcome address, Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Vichar Mahakumbh is being held since Kumbh is directly connected to churning of thoughts. He said that its objective is to ensure state’s welfare through thought process of saints and seers.

He said that in India respect has been shown towards all ideologies, thought processes and philosophies. All of them command considerable respect and honour. He said that the biggest concern of present time is to ensure value-based human life. It is to be pondered as to which are the ways for making human life happy and meaningful. He said that it is possible through convergence of science and spiritualism. Science and spiritualism are complimentary to each other. He said that issues like global warming, traditional farming system, value-based life, Dharma and spiritualism are of global importance. Therefore, global message was released after ideological churning during Simhastha.
