Bhopal, May 16, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Narmada’s drinking water will be supplied to residents of Vallabh Nagar in ward-33. Higher and Technical Education Minister Mr. Umashankar Gupta inaugurated it today. In the area, 5 km long pipeline costing Rs. one crore has been laid from which 700 connections have been given so far. Mr. Gupta said that all residents of the area should take tap connections in their houses. Only Rs. 30 per month would be charged. He said that streetlights costing Rs. 50 lakh will be installed. Mr. Gupta said that state’s 23 lakh girls have availed benefit of Ladli Laxmi Scheme. He also informed about other welfare schemes of the state government. Local public representatives were also present on the occasion.
