CM describes Simhastha-2016 as unprecedented and ethereal

Bhopal, May 22, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed gratitude towards crores of devotees, all sects, Mahamandaleshwars, Akhara chiefs, Akhara Parishad, representatives of all religions and Gurus for their cooperation, support, guidance and participation to ensure success of Simhastha-2016 which concluded at Ujjain today. Mr. Chouhan said that in the face of natural calamity, saints and seers exercised patience and situation was normalized within a few hours with the cooperation of administration, public participation, volunteers and local people. The alacrity and swiftness of all concerning people to continue Simhastha without interruption is highly praiseworthy and unforgettable. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude towards officers and employees of concerning departments, sanitary workers and Ujjain’s people who rendered untiring services day in and day out with dedication. Mr. Chouhan said that it was a challenging task to guide, inform and help crores of devotees and taking aged people, women and disabled persons to ghats for the holy dip, but all these tasks have been accomplished with finesse.

Home Guards and police personnel prevented any eventuality with alertness. The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude towards Akhara Parishad, all Akharas, national and international media, scholars, voluntary, social and religious organisations for their maximum cooperation. Due to this, the unique mega congregation of religion and faith concluded successfully.
