Tourism development sector taken to pinnacle in MP


Bhopal, May 25, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):   Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation taken tourism development in the state to the pinnacle. Role of all corporation officers and employees has been significant in it. They should keep it up with the same spirit to scale further heights of development. This was stated by Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Mr. Surendra Patwa while addressing 38th Foundation Day function of the corporation here today. He said that successful organisation of Jal-Mahotsav at Hanuwantiya has opened new vistas of water tourism in the state. Mr. Patwa presented awards to selected officers and employees of the corporation for excellent performance. Mr. Patwa said that construction of about 70 wayside amenities is nearing completion. About 10 wayside amenities will be constructed during every next month. He said that winning 6 national awards is a major achievement for the corporation and is a matter of pride. This process would continue in future also. Corporation’s MD Mr. Hari Ranjan Rao said that MPSTDC has become synonymous with tourism in the state.

Role of corporation crops ups automatically when it comes to discussions on tourism. He said that development works can be undertaken rapidly only with positive viewpoint. Greeting Tourism staff on Foundation Day, Mr. Rao hoped that Team Tourism would maintain its image by undertaking excellent works in future also.  Earlier, Mr. Rajesh Agrawal from New Delhi gave tips to Team Tourism for better work with positive frame of mind. He said that only a person who has shunned egoism can handle a egoist person in a better way. Skill, art of speech and good interaction become good means to explore solutions of problems in life.

About one-hour long session was quite engrossing. Additional MD Miss Tanvi Sunderiyal proposed a vote of thanks. The officers and employees of the corporation awarded by MoS Mr. Patwa included Tulsiram, peon, Mohanlal, assistant, Raju, driver, Ramakant, gardener, Rajiv Shrivastava, engineer, S.K. Jain, accountant, Mrs. Leena Karkare, marketing officer, Yogesh Argal, senior manager, Anil Saxena, regional manager, Netra Bahadur, waiter, Rudra Bahadur, cook, Mohanlal Sharma, receptionist etc. Executive Director Mr. O.V. Choudhary was awarded for successful organisation of Jal-Mahotsav.
