Meeting of state open school council’s executive committee
Bhopal, May 31, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): ‘Ruk Jana Naheen’ scheme has been approved to give right direction to unsuccessful candidates of Board of Secondary Education exams for year 2015-16. A meeting of State Open School Council’s executive committee chaired by School Education Minister Mr. Paras Jain approved implementation of the scheme as a pilot project. Objective of the scheme is to prevent unsuccessful candidates from taking extreme step out of distress and provide them alternative arrangements. This scheme is meant for unsuccessful candidates of Board of Secondary Education exams for year 2015-16. For such students, exams will be held from June 15. Before this, a 7-day contact programme will also be held. The meeting was informed that result of this exam will be declared in July so that students next academic session is not disturbed.ACS School Education Mr. S.R. Mohanthy, officers of State Open School and non-official members attended the meeting. The meeting also decided to prescribe fee for verification of marksheets and certificates of State Open School. Rs. 200 will be charged for verification of marksheets and certificates in cases upto 10 years back and Rs. 300 for period before 10 years. The meeting also decided to adopt online digital evaluation by scanning answer-sheets with a view to ensuring transparency in functioning of Open School.
