Health Minister Shri Rustam Singh for decent conduct by doctors and nurses

Bhopal: July 6, 2016. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Rustam Singh said that the conduct of doctors, nurses and other staff with patients in hospitals should be decent. Along with effective treatment, they should also be dealt with politely.

Shri Rustam Singh directed this during a meeting with departmental PS Smt. Gauri Singh, Secretary Smt. Suraj Damor and Director NHM Shri V. Kiran Gopal here today. Shri Singh undertook detailed review of health schemes. He said that equipments in hospitals must be in working condition and proper attention should be paid to sanitation. Doctors should report on duty punctually and pay attention to quality of work. The Minister said that awards will be given for excellent performance. Besides, strict action would be taken on negligence. Director Health Dr. K.L. Sahu was also present.
