Shiv Sena women leader ran modern brothel, arrested

shivULHASNAGAR: Sena leader Shobha Galmadu from Ulhasnagar has been arrested from a Kalyan based lodge for running a sex racket.

The party says she had been removed already and the police were informed.

However, Galmadu seen celebrating Chaudhari’s birthday on June 1.

A local woman Shiv Sena leader from Ulhasnagar has been arrested from Kalyan based lodge for running a sex racket.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of Thane police on Saturday arrested Shobha Galmadu along with manager Suresh Shetty and driver Vinod Yadav of Durga Palace lodge, situated near Birla College in Kalyan. The police have also rescued two women from their clutches and seized cash worth Rs 59000.

Police sources said Galmadu is posted at organiser post of ladies wing of Shiv Sena party in Ulhasnagar and have good relationship with many senior leaders including Gopal Landge.

However, after Galmadu’s arrest, Sena city president Rajendra Chaudhari of Ulhasnagar city in his written statement has claimed that after learning about Galmadu’s activity, party had already removed her a year ago from the party and had informed the police about her.

However, contrary to Chaudhari’s statement, on June 1 Galmadu was seen celebrating his birthday by putting congratulations poster on his birthday.
