65.24 % voting in 8 LS constituencies of Madhya Pradesh in third phase
Bhopal, May 12, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Total 65.24 percent polling was registered in 8 parliamentary constituencies of the third phase (sixth of the country) in the state in the Lok Sabha elections-2009. In this, 69.05 percent males and 60.91 percent females exercised franchise. The polling percentage in Morena Parliamentary constituency was 61.67, 54.49 in Bhind, 59.78 in Gwalior, 70.02 in Guna, 65.49 in Sagar, 71.62 in Vidisha, 65.65 in Bhopal and 74.32 percent in Rajgarh.
There are a total of one crore 44 lakh voters in this phase. Before polling

began, mock poll was conducted in all polling stations. During the mock poll, 147 ballot units, 105 control units and 295 VVPATs were replaced due to faults in EVMs in 102 polling booths. During actual voting, 49 ballot units, 34 control units, and 102 VVPATs were replaced.
