US Ambassador to India Shri Kenneth I. Juster calls on C.M. Shri Kamal Nath

Holds Discussions on global peace, terrorism and business scenario Bhopal, July 10, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The US Ambassador to India Shri Kenneth I. Juster and a delegation paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath at Minto Hall here today. During the meeting, they discussed issues pertaining to world peace, terrorism and business scenario. The Chief Minister recalled that Indo-US relationship took a positive shift when the late Prime Minister Shir Rajiv Gandhi had initiated the process of building a modern India. He said that Madhya Pradesh offers immense scope in fast emerging sectors like tourism and pharmaceutical research. The US companies might look at the greater opportunities for mutual cooperation and trade intervention. Supportive infrastructure and conducive environment for pharmaceutical research prevails in the state. Shri Kenneth I. Juster discussed India-US trade scenario. The Chief Secretary Shri SR Mohanty, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammed Sulaiman, Principal Secretary Industry Shri Rajesh Rajaura, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Ashok Barnawal and senior officials were present.
