High-level committee to probe incident in which vision of patients was affected

Affected patients to be given free treatment: Eye surgeon called from Chennai Bhopal, August 17, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat has described the incident of in which vision of 10 patients was affected after surgery in a private hospital in Indore as inhuman. He said that the state government has called Dr. Raju Raman of the country’s famous Sankara Nethralaya of Chennai to treat the affected patients. Dr. Raman is reaching Indore on Sunday, August 18. Minister Shri Silavat said that the state government will provide complete treatment of to the affected patients free-of-cost. He said that a high-level enquiry committee has been constituted to probe into the incident. The committee has started the probe. The committee has been told to present the probe report as early as possible.Shri Silavat told that stern action will be taken against the guilty on the basis of the committee’s probe report.
