Flood victims in MP need not worry, Government will provide full assistance

Rs. 4 lakh Financial Assistance to Shahzad Mansoori’s family, who lost life while saving flood affected people CM Shri Kamal Nath meets flood affected people in Payakhedi and Betikhedi village of Mandsuar district Bhopal, September 23, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath visited flood affected Payakhedi and Betkhedi villages of Mandsaur district today. He told the flood victims that they need not worry, government is with them and full help will be provided. Shri Nath gave financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh to the family of Late Shahzad Mansoori, who sacrificed his life while saving life of flood affected people. The Chief Minister Shri Nath reached Payakhedi and Betikhedi of Suwasra tahsil and took stock of the damaged crops, houses and other losses. He also interacted with the affected people. Shri Nath told the victims that the government is with them and their every loss will be compensated. The district administration has been instructed to conduct the survey of loss caused by the floods. He informed farmers that the relief work has already been started. Relief will be given to all the affected people by October 15. Moreover, Shri Nath told the flood victims that the officers have been directed for to conduct real assessment of loss to crops and survey work with time limit with honesty. Expressing condolences to the family of Late Shazad Mansoori, the Chief Minister said that every possible help will be provided to them. The Chief Minister Shri Nath was accompanied by the Minister for Water Resources and Minister District in-charge Shri Hukum Singh Karada, MLA Shri Hardeep Singh Dang, former MP Sushri Meenakshi Natrajan and Senior Officers of the division and district.
