Help flood victims in mission-mode: CM Shri Kamal Nath

CM issues instructions while reviewing situation in Kayampur village Bhopal, September 23, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has said that the officers should work in mission-mode to provide relief to flood victims whose crops have been ruined, houses have been damaged and they have suffered many losses in the floods. Do not just do paperwork. Shri Kamal Nath was reviewing the damage caused by the floods and the relief provided to the victims, in the meeting with officials at Kayampur village in Mandsaur district today. Shri Nath told to assess the losses caused due to heavy rains correctly. He told to ensure that no beneficiary should be left out. He said that the time-limit set for providing relief to the flood victims should be strictly followed. The farmers should get seeds for the upcoming Rabi crop on time. Availability and distribution of seeds should be ensured. The Chief Minister said that the work of officers will be assessed on the basis of information given by the public. The certificate of the success of the mission of distributing relief and compensation should be given by the public. Shri Nath said that if the officials face any difficulty in the work of distribution of relief and compensation, they should immediately inform the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. He said that “I want that the flood victims should feel that they have received full help from the government on time”. Water Resources Minister Shri Hukum Singh Karada, MLA Shri Hardeep Singh Dung, former MP Sushri Meenakshi Natarajan, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Ashok Vernawal, Ujjain Division Commissioner Shri Ajit Kumar, Inspector General of Police Shri Rakesh Gupta, Collector Shri Manoj Pushp and senior officers of the district and division were present in the meeting.
