Gandhi Darshan Yatra Rath to reach all 52 districts of MP: CM Shri Kamal Nath

CM flags off Rath Yatra Bhopal, October 2, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath today flagged off the “Gandhi Darshan Yatra Rath’ of Public Relations and Culture Department at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration on the 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The rath yatra will reach all the 52 districts of the state and make people aware of Gandhiji’s ideas through various medium of communication. The rath yatra, which started today on Gandhi Jayanti, will reach all the remote areas of the state by October 2, 2020. The chariot designed for the Yatra will showcase films inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas, ashrams, bhajnavali, songs, exhibitions and street plays etc centered on Gandhiji. Three promotional chariots have been prepared for Gandhi Darshan Yatra. The first promotion chariot will have an open platform, with a street play team. The vehicle will also have a stall for Khadi Village Industries. In the second chariot, films inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts and the message of the Chief Minister will be broadcast. The third chariot will have a LED exhibition centred on Gandhiji. Cultural programmes centered on Mahatma Gandhi will also be organized on Sunday in this chariot connected with GPS system in each district. Public Relations Minister Shri P.C. Sharma, Higher Education Minister Shri Jitu Patwari, Tribal Welfare Minister Shri Omkar Singh Markam, Principal Secretary Public Relations Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Principal Secretary Culture Shri Pankaj Rag and Commissioner Public Relations Shri P. Narahari were present on the occasion.
