Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas necessary to be free from the tension prevailing in society: CM Kamal Nath

Bhopal, October 2, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Kamal Nath said on Gandhi Jayanti today that in order to be free from the tension prevailing in the world and society, it is necessary to adopt the thoughts of the Father of the Nation and follow the path shown by him.
The Minister of State today participated in a padyatra organized by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He traveled from the local Roshanpura intersection to the Mahatma Gandhi statue located in Minto Hall. He garlanded Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and paid tribute to him. After this, he reached the statue site of the former Prime Minister late Lal Bahadur Shastri installed at the old assembly square and garlanded his statue and paid homage to it.
The Chief Minister said that Mahatma Gandhi was the leader of the world, not just India. He had made his mark in the whole world with his personality and gratitude. Referring to the President of America, he said that Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait was also installed at his work place.
The Chief Minister said that there comes a time in history when the right path is needed. Today the situation in our country, society and the whole world will be resolved only by following the path laid down by Mahatma Gandhi. He said that with his simple personality, he did extraordinary and unprecedented work by fighting against the British and liberating India from them. He said that if the country does not follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi, our culture will be destroyed.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress is proud that it is headed by the greatest man like Mahatma Gandhi. Today, if the Congress party talks of connecting the country with society, then this is the gift of Mahatma Gandhi. He said that if we have our loyalty and respect to Bapu, then it is also for our country and society.

Senior leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said in a tweet that he salutes the priest of true non-violence love and harmony. Gandhi is an ideology that can never die. Gandhi is still relevant today.
Former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also bowed to Mahatma Gandhi in his tweet. He said that the principles of non-violence, social harmony and mutual harmony of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who understood the suffering of others, have become more relevant in today’s era. The progress of India can be done only by following these principles of Gandhiji.
