Bhopal, October 15, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The Lokayukta police team raided 7 bases of Assistant Excise Commissioner Alok Kumar Khare on Tuesday morning. They raided two places in Bhopal, two in Indore, two in Raisen and one in Chhatarpur. The complaint was filed against Khare for having disproportionate assets, on which the Lokayukta police took this action. Lokayukta DSP Naveen Awasthi says that this may be the biggest action of the state. In the initial investigation itself, assets of more than 100 crores have been revealed. A pant house and a bungalow have been detected in the posh area of Indore. There is also news of getting three kilos of gold from here. At the same time, the land of two big bungalows in Bhopal’s Chunabhatti and Bagh Mughalian and farm house in Kolar have been detected. Two farm houses in Raisen were also revealed. Naveen Awasthi said that 70 members of the Lokayukta team are in action at seven places simultaneously. More than a dozen luxury vehicles have been found in these locations. Cash has been received from Indore bungalow at Rs 10 lakh and from Raisen’s farm house at Rs five lakh. The price of Assistant Excise Commissioner Khare’s residence in Chhatarpur is also being reported in crores of rupees. It is also reported that foreign currency was also received from Khare’s residence in Chhatarpur. Lokayukta team was also surprised to see Khare’s luxury farm house in Raisen. The help of the Indore Lokayukta team was taken to take action in Indore. When the team reached another location, including Grand Exotica of Indore, they got a lock. Khare has shown that his wife cultivates fruits in Raisen and he was filing income tax returns in the name of his wife. After the transfer of Assistant Excise Commissioner of Indore Naresh Choubey, Assistant Excise Commissioner Alok Khare was given the responsibility of Indore Assistant Excise Commissioner from Bhopal.
