Woman in Bhopal phones Minister PC Sharma about spread of dengue. Two ministers reached her home to ensure action

Bhopal, October 16, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Public Relations Minister PC Sharma was informed by phone housewife Lata Lalchandani, resident of Aradhana Nagar, Kotra, on Tuesday morning about the reported dengue outbreak in the neighborhood. On this, Minister Sharma immediately discussed with Health Minister Tulsiram Silavat and reached home to meet the dengue affected patients with him.
The ministers also inspected the action being taken by the staff of the Municipal Corporation and the Department of Malaria to control and prevent dengue, malaria, chikungunya. He oversaw the work being done to prevent dengue, malaria, chikungunya infectious diseases. He instructed the officers to work with teamwork for prevention of infected diseases. The malaria control team said during the inspection that one supervisor and 7 members in the team are visiting the colonies in each zone of Bhopal city.
After this, the two ministers reached the Beema Kunj campus in Kolar Nagar, Bhopal and inquired about the work being done for malaria and dengue control. He also signed the resolution board. Silavat also reached the Bima Kunj Colony of Kolar region. He gave notice to the owners of the plots lying vacant in the colonies and directed them to pay the fine. District Malaria Officer Akhilesh Dubey informed that a public awareness campaign is being conducted to prevent malaria and dengue. Flex has been installed in colonies, short films in talkies and boards on public vehicles. Apart from this, the help of religious leaders is also being taken for awareness.
