New version of Sankalp portal released for online high tension power connection

Bhopal, October 17, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Managing Director of Central Region Power Distribution Company Shri Vishesh Garhpale has said that a new version of sankalp.mpcz.in has been released by the company for online high tension connection. This portal has been made more consumer-oriented than before. Now high-tension power consumers will get information about the process of connection easily on this portal. Shri Garhpale said that high tension electeicity connections will be available in the company soon and the process will be completely transparent. He said that there are more than 2 thousand 400 high- tension consumers in the company’s jurisdiction, from whom the company receives half of the total revenue. Ensuring better services and quality power supply to high- tension consumers is the company’s priority. Simple and transparent online process In the online process, the applicant will get a password on his email and mobile number after registering on the company’s website sankalp.mpcz.in. The applicant can login in with his registered ID password and register by entering the information required for high-tension connection online. According to the load demanded by the applicant, the registration fee, supply affording and security fund fee will be calculated by the system, which will be deposited online in the bank account of the company. The application will be sent online to the Deputy General Manager / Executive Engineer of the concerned division, from where it will be further sent online to higher authorities for approval. After the estimate is approved, the applicant will determine according to the amount shown in the estimate whether he wants the company to work or get it done by the contractor himself. Accordingly 5 percent supervision charge or estimated 100 percent of the amount will be credited to the account in the form of deposit work. According to the application, after the completion of the construction work, the applicant will have to take charging permission from the Electrical Inspector and upload it online on the company’s website. Thereafter, a high tension connection will be started by installing a metering system in the applicant’s premises. This process will not cause unnecessary delay in obtaining high tension connection within the time limit prescribed by Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission.
