School van collapses in waterlogged pit, 3 children killed in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district

Shajapur. A school van fell into a waterlogged pit on Friday afternoon. 3 children died in this accident while search is on for one. There were 22 children in the van. 18 children have been rescued and admitted to the nearest hospital. The accident took place in village Richhoda, 15 km from the district headquarters.
22 children studying at the Advance Academy boarded a van to leave home after school. The driver then took the car reverse. While taking the reverse, the van fell into a pit filled with water. This pit was only a short distance away from the school. Seeing the van fall into the pit, the people around jumped into the pit to save the children.
Looking for a child still in progress
This was later reported to the police and administration. After this, the SP-Collector reached the spot. The villagers took the children out, after which the children were rushed to the hospital. The doctors there declared 3 children dead. A child is not yet known. Divers are looking for. Children named Ayush, Divya and Sandeep died in the accident. Ayush and Divya are brothers and sisters.
