Jolt to BJP in Uttarakhad panchayat elections, may may lose even in by-election

In the counting of ballots under panchayat elections, the State Election Commission was able to declare only 80 percent of the results on village head posts till late Monday. Out of 356 posts of district panchayat members, only 45 results were declared. In most of these districts, the BJP has suffered a setback.
BJP is getting signs of shock
Pithoragarh and Pauri were declared the highest results. These results of the beginning indicated only a setback to the BJP. At the same time, the BJP claimed to win most of the seats.
BJP state president Ajay Bhatt said that the board in the district panchayats will remain the BJP’s. Similarly, Congress state president Pritam Singh also claimed victory of Congress in the district panchayats. It is clear that now both the parties have to take the support of the nominees.
Shock to BJP before by-election
In Pithoragarh, BJP-backed candidates won 12 out of the total 27 seats. In 15, the BJP had to face defeat. Assembly by-elections are also to be held here. In such a situation, a crisis may arise in front of the BJP here.
