CIMS will become an example of excellence in Medical field: CM Shri Kamal Nath

Chief Minister inspects Medical College; Dedicates Auditorium
Bhopal, October 25, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath inspected Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences in Chhindwara today and directed for better arrangements at the institute as well as beautification of the campus. He dedicated the Auditorium, built in the memory the Former Dean Late Dr. H.K.T. Raza at CIMS and took a meeting of the administrative committee.
The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath stated that he had dreamt about Medical College in Chhindwara about 5 years ago. This dream is now going to become a reality. The faculty and staff are now responsible to establish the institute in real terms and its progress in true sense. He further mentioned that disciplined work culture and high standard quality must be ensured from the beginning, so that the institute could emerge as an example of excellence. Paying tribute to Late Dr. Raza, the Chief Minister said that his dedication and perception played an important role in starting the institute. During his tenure, he made all possible efforts to ensure that the institute reaches the height of high standard of quality. We all have to take forward his thinking and intentions. Shri Kamal Nath gave strict instructions to the Dean Dr. Ramteke not to make compromise of any kind in quality while recruiting faculty and staff for the institute. He further said that only the faculty of good quality would be able to impart high standard education to the students. During the inspection of CIMS, CM Shri Kamal Nath stressed especially on cleanliness and said that no compromise should be made with quality.
CM takes meeting of Administrative Committee
The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath also took a meeting of the administrative committee of the Medical College Hospital of CIMS. He sought information pertaining to students pursuing studies at the institute, assistant professors, professors and vacant posts, new equipments, ICCU and other facilities. He instructed that beautification of Medical College campus should be done. Special attention should be paid on cleanliness in the medical college and district hospital. Treatment facilities of high standard quality should be provided to patients. A horticulture plan should be prepared for the Medical College Campus and District Hospital. Shri Kamal Nath also directed to immediately start the construction works, sanctioned for the district hospital.
The MLAs Shri Nilesh Uikey and Shri Sunil Uikey, Former MLA Shri Deepak Saxena, Former President of State Bar Council Shri Ganga Prasad Tiwari, Former Jila Panchayat President Shri Vishwanath Okte, Former Jila Panchayat Vice President Shri Amit Saxena, Dean Dr. Girish B. Rakteke as well as CIMS’s Staff and concerned officers were present on the occasion.
