MP Cabinet hikes Samman Nidhi of accredited veteran journalists to Rs 10 thousand

Bhopal, October 31, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): In a Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath at the Mantralaya today, decision was taken to raise the Shraddha Nidhi paid to the senior and elderly accredited journalists from Rs. 7 thousand per month to Rs. 10 thousand as Samman Nidhi. The Cabinet took a decision to grant administrative approval to amendment bill in connection to include 6 correspondence courses of College of Physician and Surgeon, Mumbai in Schedule of Section-2 of Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Parishad Adhiniyam 1987. As a result of this amendment, the availability of specialist doctors will increase in the government hospitals and expansion in health services will take place. The Cabinet has decided to approve and continue reimbursement of salary, allowances, gratuity of officers-employees, working in the Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad and expenditure concerning academic administration and other heads from the scheme no. 7073- Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad Head of the Directorate of Culture. The Cabinet took a decision to bring the control of advertisements of various categories of urban bodies under the Madhya Pradesh Outdoor Media Rule 2017. Under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission, the Cabinet gave approval for execution of Sex Sorted Semen Production Facility Scheme by the Madhya Pradesh State Pashudhan evam Kukkut Vikas Nigam. The Cabinet decided to appoint Smt. Pooja Solanki, wife of the Deputy Inspector, Shri Harsh Vardhan Solanki as Deputy Inspector in Balaghat district police force considering it as a special case. The Cabinet approved the proposed amendment notification in the Madhya Pradesh High Judicial Service (Terms of Conditions of Recruitment) Rules, 2017. The Cabinet gave approval to sell the government aircraft B 200 and its spares and spare engine to M/s Wing Aviation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, which submitted the proposal of maximum Rs. 8 crore 55 lakh 10 thousand. Similarly, the Cabinet has decided to confiscated the E.M.D. amount of Rs. 2 lakh 66 thousand 160 of M/s Thambi Aviation Pvt. Ltd., Kerala, which submitted the proposal of the maximum amount for purchase of Government helicopter Bell-430, its spare parts and spare engine for not responding according to the sale deed. At the same time, decision was taken by the Cabinet to take action pertaining to sale of the above said helicopter to the second highest bidder M/s SimmSamm Airways, which submitted the bid for Rs. 2 crore 71 lakh and 99. Formation of State Reconstruction Sub-Fund: Ministers to give one month salary Deliberations on formation of State Reconstruction Sub-Fund also took place in the cabinet meeting. It may be mentioned that due to the excessive rainfall in the state, has caused wide scale damage to the farmers’ crops, personal immovable properties of general public and immovable properties of the government besides other various institutions as well as the infrastructures. In order to raise necessary financial resources for reconstruction and repair of damaged properties as well as help to the farmers, the government emphasized the need for the formation of State Reconstruction Sub-Fund. In the suggestions received by the Cabinet, several individuals and institutions wish to provide help for this purpose. The amount available in additional form with certain institutions of the state government will be transferred in this sub-fund. About Rs. One thousand crore of this kind of amount is available with the Minor Forest Produce Federation. The Officers of the All India Services have expressed wish to give arrear amount of 5 percent dearness allowance increased from July, 2019 for this sub-fund. Likewise, efforts will be made to collect funds from every possible resource for the sub-fund. The members of the Cabinet have also expressed wish to give one month salary for this sub-fund.
