Congress wonders how Kailash Vijayvargiya’s electricity bill is below Rs 100, says BJP misleads
2nd November 2019
Indore/Bhopal, November 2, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): politics has intensified on the burning of Holi of electricity bills by the BJP on November 4. The Congress has accused the BJP of doing politics which misleads the public. The Congress says that the BJP leaders are taking a benefit of the Indira Griha Jyoti Yojana and depositing electricity bills of less than 100 rupees, while in their rule they had to pay bill of thousands of rupees. State Congress Secretary Vivek Khandelwal said that the BJP is going to burn lightning across the state on November 4. Their apology is that electricity bills are not waived. After the coming of the Kamal Nath government, Indira Graha Jyoti Yojana was implemented in the state, in which 30 lakh electricity consumers of Indore division as well as consumers across the state benefited from it. The benefit of the scheme includes the names of several BJP corporators including BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, MLA Akash Vijayvargiya, former MLA Sudarshan Gupta and MIC member. Bills of thousands of rupees used to come in his government, today his bills are coming below 100 rupees in the Congress government. BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya’s residence has been getting a reading bill for the last 6 months. They tell what magic spell they have that electricity bill is coming so much work. The current bill has also come down to Rs 93 under the Indira Grah Jyoti Yojana, after reducing the subsidy by 40 rupees. They should hand over a vote of thanks for bringing this plan instead of burning Holi of electricity bill. On one hand, the BJP is pretending to burn Holi on electricity bills to mislead the general public. While other Aare BJP leaders and officials are taking advantage of the scheme and depositing cheap electricity bills. Khandelwal said that Bill of zero reading has been coming at Vijayvargiya’s residence for six months. Apart from this, he has also received subsidy under the Indira Jyoti scheme of 40 rupees on the bill. In the entire matter, I have requested Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Energy Minister Priyavrat Singh and CMD of the Department of Power to immediately suspend AE, JE in Vijayvargiya’s zone. Also, the investigation should be done that after all he was looted for six months in some way.
