Wrestler faints during Dangal in Akhara, loses life in Seoni of Madhya Pradesh

Seoni: One wrestler died while wrestling during a Dangal in the district. A video of the incident has also surfaced. In which a wrestler named Sonu falls suddenly while wrestling and dies. The incident is being reported on Saturday. Police have started investigation. According to the information received, the incident is from Belpeth village in Kurai block where a riot is organized every year. It is being told that Sonu Pehalwan (18), a Bhoma resident of Seoni, had also reached to participate in the riot. There was a fight between the wrestler of Jabalpur. The wrestling had lasted for two minutes, when the Sonu wrestler suddenly had a heart attack and Sonu begins to faint. Here, rival wrestler Sonu dominates. Sonu wrestler after seeing Gush falls into the riot. Fellow wrestlers see his health deteriorating and take him to the hospital, but he dies on the way. Police station in-charge of Kurai, Ganpat Singh Uike said on Sunday that wrestler Sonu Yadav (19), a resident of Bhomatola village, was wrestling around 8 pm on Saturday night in a riot competition held in Beltola village. Meanwhile, his breath swelled and he fainted in the arena. He said that he was immediately rushed to Seoni District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Uike said that the police have registered a case in this regard and a detailed investigation is on. He said that if the negligence of referees and organizers is found in the investigation, action will be taken against them as per law. Uike said that his body was handed over to his family members on Sunday morning after the postmortem.
