Gwalior/Bhopal, November 7, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Madhav Institute of Technology and Science Gwalior (MITS) on Wednesday afternoon caused a huge furore between hostlers and day-scholars students. Police arrived at Mackey to beat the students and beat them up to control the situation. Removed students from the class and got the campus vacated. The commotion went on for about two hours. Police of Gole Ka Mandir police station have registered a case of assault against 4 students. At the same time, 11 students have been suspended after the meeting of the Proctorial Board and Discipline Committee. The reason for the dispute is being told that the students were molested, although the students turned away from this in front of the parents. In the institute at 1 pm, BE second-year day-scholar Ankit Lohia and Nikunj were going off campus along with some other students, while Saurabh Patel of the hostel, Manav Pathak, Sankalp Kannaujia, Mohit Bhuria and their companions would bring it They started surrounded and started fighting. During this time two girls were also assaulted. Students of the hostel escaped after the assault. There was stone pelting between the two sides here. After the stone pelting, the de-scholar students returned but one of their fellow BE second year students Ashish Lalwani was taken hostage by the hostel students and beaten up. As soon as this was detected, the day-scholar students started vandalizing the campus. Meanwhile, the additional police force reached and controlled the students by lathi-charge. Then the hostage student was freed.
