In connection with the investigation that has been going on for the last two months. Actually, EAW after initial investigation gave 300 notices of smart city office to several hundred thousand rupees. The documents related to Tender were sought, but when the documents were not made available, the investigation agency raided here. In the case, the role of Vivek Agarwal, the then principal secretary of the Urban Administration Department and former CEO of Smart City, Chandramouli Shukla, were investigated. is. Staff refused to give records when the CEO of EOW arrived at the Smart City office, as CEO Deepak Singh was out. The team showed strictness and after searching for two and a half hours, seized the files and the necessary documents attached to the command center. However, some important documents related to e-tender have not been found in the records.

Command center e-tender has been in dispute since the beginning. In the BJP government in 2017, BSNL objected to e-tendering for technical reasons. In a letter to the Center and the state government, they accused the private company of benefiting HPE. Objection was taken to award contract to HPE for 300 crore bypassing BSNL’s coat of 275 crore amount. BSNL had termed the violation of the Conflict of Interest terms as a partnership between Smart Water Company advisor Price Water House Coopers (PwC) and HP Enterprises. However, BSNL officers later retreated. The EOW has also issued notices to PwC officials for statements. In this case, the IAS Association has also openly come out in favor of Vivek Agarwal, posted on deputation at the Center.
