CM Shri Kamal Nath unveils statue of Smt. Indira Gandhi in Chhindwara

Bhopal, November 20, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath today unveiled the life-size statue of the country’s first woman Prime Minister Late Smt. Indira Gandhi at Chhindwara. This statue has been installed at Indira Tiraha on the occasion of Late Smt. Gandhi’s birthday on November 19.Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that the statues of great personalities remind us of their struggle besides their ideas, principles and values. He said that Late Smt. Gandhi was one of those figures in Indian history who glorified India throughout the world. Under her leadership, India made all-round progress. The Chief Minister said that the schemes that she initiated to provide justice and honour to the poor raised their standard of living. Shri Kamal Nath said that the state government is committed to continue work on Smt. Gandhi’s Sarvadharma Samabhav and the all-round development of the proletariat.
Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Sukhdev Panse, Medical Education Minister Dr. Vijaylaxmi Sadho, Home and Jail Minister Shri Bala Bachchan, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister Shri Lakhan Ghanghoria, MLA Shri Sunil Uike and former Minister Shri Deepak Saxena along with a number of citizens were present.
