10 percent reservation to economically weaker section in MP Corporations & boards

Bhopal, November 24, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): People of economically weaker sections will also get 10 percent reservation in the recruitements held in corporations. The state government had implemented this system in government jobs, but this reservation was not clear in the recruitment of government undertakings. In the order issued on Saturday by the General Administration Department, it has been clarified that 10% reservation should be given to the candidates belonging to economically weaker general category in all the corporatetions in which the government has 51% participation. Also, till July 2, 2019, the posts which are vacant in government departments and undertakings should also be followed in filling those posts.
It is noteworthy that about one lakh posts are vacant in corporations and boards in government undertakings including all 62 departments in the state. The government is going to recruit on these posts soon. These posts are in the position before July 2, 2019, 10 percent reservation will be given in all the recruitements.

Schools to have Under-16 Provincial Olympics
Players will get 5 percent reservation in government jobs
Players will get 5 percent reservation in government jobs in the state. The Under 16 Provincial Olympics will be started to nurture sporting talent at the school level. State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari announced this while inaugurating the Provincial Olympic Games at Kampu Sports Complex in Gwalior on Saturday. Patwari said that even after winning medals in the Games at international and national level, the players could not get jobs. For this reason, players will be given reservation in the new sports policy. Patwari said that children from all CBSE, government and private schools would be included in the Under 16 Provincial Olympics. At present, the provincial Olympics include 10 sports – hockey, basketball, football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, athletics etc.
