Now, BJP acts against Godse lover Pragya Thakur, removes her from Parliamenty Panel

Bhopal, November 29, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Pragya Singh Thakur has been removed from a key parliamentary panel a day after she described Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin, Nathuram Godse, as a “patriot” during Lok Sabha proceedings. Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is the MP from Bhopal.
Not only has Pragya Thakur been axed from the Consultative Committee on Defence — she was appointed only eight days ago — but she can’t attend BJP parliamentary party meetings during the current session either.
BJP working president Jagat Prakash Nadda condemned Pragya Thakur’s remarks, and said the BJP didn’t support such statements.
Sources said the BJP’s disciplinary committee was likely to expel her from the party.
PRAGYA INTERRUPTS, OPPOSITION PROTESTS
On Wednesday, during a Lok Sabha discussion on the Special Protection Group (Amendment) Bill, DMK member A Raja cited a statement by Godse on why he killed Mahatma Gandhi. Pragya Thakur interrupted him; she said he couldn’t give the example “of a deshbhakt”.
Opposition members protested her interruption, and BJP members asked her to sit down.
Speaker Om Birla said only Raja’s statement would go on record.
Pragya Thakur has described Nathuram Godse as a “patriot” once before — during this year’s Lok Sabha election campaign.
A day later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he would never forgive her for insulting Mahatma Gandhi.
