Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath meets poor and orphan children at CM House

Bhopal, November 30, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath met poor and orphan children at his residence today and flagged off the “Ek Din ki Puri Khushi” (Full Happiness for a Day) tour programme of the children under the “Nanhi Khushiyan” programme. The Chief Minister asked the children to study well, stay connected with their civilization, culture and sanskar and apprise themselves with the history of India’s freedom struggle. Shri Kamal Nath said that children are the future of the country. In the coming days, children will play an important role in the building of the society. He said that it should be our endeavour to provide such an environment to these children, so that not only their future is better but they also become capable and successful citizens. The Chief Minister also sought information about the studies, interests as well as sports and games from the poor and orphan children living in slums. He congratulated the children and said that the country in which they are living is the only country in the world where people of different cultures, languages, castes and religions stay together.He said that the most important thing in our country is that our unity and integrity is not only strong amidst so many diversities, but when the time comes, everyone unites and faces every crisis. The Chief Minister told the children that people of all religions and classes came forward to assist the people affected by floods caused due to excessive rains in various districts of the state including Mandsaur recently. Shri Kamal Nath said that this is our specialty and this is our power, which is acknowledged by the whole world. The Chief Minister presented shawls and gifts to the children who came to visit him. The children also thanked the CM happily. Under the “Ek Din ki Puri Khushi” programme, children will be taken on a tour of Bhopal which includes the CM House, Van Vihar and Raj Bhavan. The children included in this programme sponsored by the newspaper Navdunia and Pratibha Foundation will also have lunch and dinner in a big hotel.
